Would love just a couple hard hit balls at someone for Kentucky. Aggies had three in one inning in the 8th yesterday, Kentucky has lived on routine ground balls hit just in the right spot.

Starting pitching this weekend has been beyond terrible. Aggie starters have given up 16 runs 9.1 innings of work. 15.43 ERA.

If Earley is out this after this year, is Mingione on our radar at all? I love what I've seen from him. Being able to execute and manufacture runs is something we seem to put little to no emphasis on, and he's been able to use small ball strategies to turn Kentucky into a very formidable opponent in the hardest conference in the nation.

Man, the pitching coach has really just given up. Our two strike approach to pitching is like throw the same spot 3 times then right down the middle.

Pretty sure you should be working both sides of the plate to make them guess and catch them leaning.

Earley makes him look good. Gotta be careful thinking that a coach is good because he has his players prepared and manages a game better than a guy who has proven to have no ability to do either at the D1 level.

Edit to say he is a good coach, but I don't think he would be able to produce the success he has had in Kentucky flying under the radar.

If Patton goes to first on the first sac were out of the inn 3-2 and were hitting. Put up big inn small ball struggles. Were just not making good decisions.

We really need to stop lusting after every coach we face. There are good options out there, and some have been on the opposing bench, but this week to week "oh, what about this coach" is so odd.
