When we start the coach hot board, put me firmly in the no Mingione camp.
If we hire Mingione I would hope it is because at least a dozen other coaches turned us down. At best he'll produce RC results with Tony V attitude. I'm hoping for someone much, much better.

Totally agree. But, at least at the point we would have actually had a legitimate search and not done what we felt was most expedient and cheap.

He should have tossed Mingione and Hage.

Umps basically bowed down to Mingione the last 2 games. And anyone who does not think it changes things can kiss my ass.

Kentucky came up in the first inning and would wipe out the chalk marks of the batter box by sweeping their cleats. And then sit on top of the plate with their arms and hands in the strike zone. So you could throw a strike and hit them. And neither ump the last two days did anything.

Total joke. League has to do something. They have been hbp 55 times in the last 17 games.

Not surprised with Ryan Broussard. Surprised today. Mingione played blue like a violin.

You know, we had a top 5 coach but for whatever reason, we **** the bed and couldn't keep him. He went to sip land and has already turned them around. Meanwhile, we won't make the SEC tournament. This is proof positive we are absolutely the worst run athletic department in the country. We can't get out of our own way and will always find a way to **** things up

Why would any coach want to be a part of this athletic department? It's been said we have a culture problems. It's the athletic department as a whole.

Agree to an extent. When home plate blue lets the opposing team stand inside the batter's box and not give you the outside corner that strike window gets real small. Where they stood they could not move and get hit by a strike. Completely changed the weekend when Nroussard let them get away with it yesterday. It is almost impossible to pitch.

Blue has to do something there.

And it is one thing not to have the balls to do something (because they absolutely know what is going on) but then for home plate blue today to put up with Mingione's crap is piss poor.

Kentucky purposefully wiped out the lines. It is a well played strategy. And they have been hbp now like 56 times in the last 17 games. That is like 56 singles and 56 base runners. It is huge. And basically cheating.
