Hiring Earley was seen as the only way to stop our players from transferring to Austin, there was enough egg on our face and losing generational players to PoS like Jace, GG, and Sorell would have been even worse.

He was touted for his defensive ability that needed work at the plate. His play has been disappointing defensively thus far. I'm sure he'll get better, but that's just the truth.

Fair enough. I was just responding to to Schloss setting us further back and didn't agree. He was a setback. There was just a decision that appears to have set us back further than Schloss' leaving.

No, why BAS is real. We'll see if they can turn it around, but at this point we might be scraping the bottom of the sec.
This is beyond Earley imo. After the season is over, I'm betting you'll start hearing stuff about division on the team, poor work ethic, too much partying among players or something. Earley hasn't been good, but there's zero team chemistry right now. Something isn't right in the clubhouse.

Not exactly. Maybe someone in between coaching jobs but with experience as a former head coach who is now a position coach. All of this is far fetched. And they would only be a place holder. I honestly would rather Early figure it out in short order. Just don't see it. But, believe me I have been wrong on multiple occasions.
