I tend to agree. He's much more athletic and his errors seem to mostly be inexperience. He's not played much over there and is still learning. Bergevin just doesn't move well.

I sttill not sure I don't understand the we are playing Kash over there and finding someone else to play OF... but Earley / Brauny talk like that isn't gong to happen, or at least wasn't the plan coming into the season...


I want Brauny to comment on this. I seem to remember something during his recruitment about him profiling better in LF, and us playing him there was part of why he chose A&M. So I could see why that would make it not an option.

Incorrect. Those are all plays a d1 first baseman needs to make. A big part of the position is scooping poor throws.
So Kent gets a pass for not having the arm to make the throws from SS?

If that's how you perceive it, sure. Go with that. No other shortstop has ever skipped a throw to first. Give me a break.

Yeah I agree. Those kind of special agreements can backfire with injuries and unexpected turns. At this point it should be "what is best for the team? Period."

Is there any way to look back to see how many balls in the dirt that Burton had to field last year? Or how many balls in the dirt were thrown by Camarillo through 10/11 games?

5 errors and a .956 overall comes down to a lack of focus. No matter how you slice it. These guys didn't forget how to field overnight. And you could him haw about the bench and the injuries, but are you saying the A&M bench is worse than the UTSA starters? What the frick is happening? Please wake up, team!!

I just watched the UTSA 1B and P make an incredible recovery for the out, and at this point I don't trust that our guys could do that!

This team got everything they wanted after the D bag left, they got their handpicked coach and evidently a lot of them got a great NIL deal in their bank account, and to come out this season and play like **** like this game after game?
