Binderups defense has been bad, but I actually agree he makes some of these plays.
Was schloose that good of a coach?

Incorrect. Those are all plays a d1 first baseman needs to make. A big part of the position is scooping poor throws.

I'm not sure binderup makes all 3, but I do think there's still a reason he started at 1st when Berg Dhed at Minute Maid.

Seems like his teams rarely beat themselves. They play good defense, attack the strike zone, wear down opposing pitchers and limit mistakes.
