The one in Arlington is better for the fans. The ballpark in Houston does not have a heating system, and unless you get real lucky with a warm day, it's surprisingly cold.

Tournaments at minor league parks are much better in my opinion. The stadium is right sized for the crowd.

We played in the Round Rock Classic at Express Stadium back in 2021 & I thought it was great. We should play in that one again.

That program has fallen off a cliff since that regional in 2014. It is pretty sad because it was a program. I always really enjoyed watching and it was a really fun/classy baseball rivalry for a while there.

And indoor baseball mostly sucks. And artificial turf baseball mostly sucks. I know it's still cold-ish in most of the country but still not really a fan. The AA and AAA stadium vibe is so much better as well.

800 is a good crowd for February (heck, any month) in Norman. Crappy park. Crappy fan base.

They had 4800 vs tu last year, and over 12k for the weekend vs tu. Granted, that was the last weekend in April but still that is pathetic.

Looking at their media guide, because I'm extremely bored and don't way to pay for FloSports, only 1 of their Top 25 Attendance games was in March and that was versus in-state rivals Cowpokes. All the rest are April, May and June and range from 3000 to 4800. But even so they still had 2K every game opening weekend last year. and averaged 2500 over 31 games.

Not great by any metric, but under 800 is very bad even for them. Even their mid-week attendance last year looks to typically be 2x that number. Guessing this was mostly weather related since it's been mid-20s and wintry mix most of the weekend.

This is a really neat feature by okst baseball. I think it's just a live video steam on twitter of the scoreboard, but it works great.
