Vandy has moved up its midweek series with Air Force from Tues/Wed to Mon/Tues. Since we already have a couple of weekend games extending into Monday this week, I decided to put the Monday AF/Vandy game as part of the weekend scoreboard in hopes of minimizing overlap with the midweek scoreboard thread.

The home and away issue is pretty big for us. The nasty part of our schedule is the away games.

I'm actually okay with that, road losses against top tier teams don't hurt you as much and of course any wins on the road against those teams boosts your resume a lot. Win your home games and go 3-2 on the road and you're a top 3 seed

All the top teams swept their opponents this weekend. And did it in grand fashion. Lots of runs were scored. Going to be a fub race with us, LSU, and Tennessee!

Exactly why I created that combined schedule on the prior page. Updated below with a basic color coding.

Texas (19)
Home - LSU (3), UGA (8), AUB, TAMU (1), UF (10)
Away - MSST (18), MIZZ, UK, ARK (5), OU

Texas A&M (1)
Home - BAMA, UK, SC, LSU (3), MIZZ
Away - Vandy (16), UT (4), ARK (5), tu (19), UGA (8)

Our road schedule is absolutely brutal. No easy weekends in the SEC in general but this is especially insane. Mizzou is at least equally brutal, arguably worse with Bama and SC maybe just a tad easier. Texas has to go State and Ark but otherwise has a pretty manageable road schedule. Their home schedule is certainly tougher than ours.
