What's the deal with Earley?

He has not changed his X picture and stuff.

Did he know what was happening?

Some people don't live online like we do.

My mom hasn't updated her twitter profile for years even though several of the things in there need updating lol.

F that we need to end their careers if any of them were recruiting against A&M while being paid by A&M

Josh Elander, Tennessee, Associate Head Coach / Recruiting Coordinator

Josh Elander was named an assistant coach for the Volunteers in August of 2017 after spending one season as a volunteer assistant coach at Arkansas and was promoted to associate head coach after the conclusion of his fifth season on Rocky Top in 2022. During his six seasons on staff, the Volunteers have made two trips to the College World Series (2021 & 2023) and four NCAA Tournament appearances (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023).

Elander works primarily with the team's hitters and catchers while also serving as Tennessee's recruiting coordinator.

Hometown: Round Rock, TX
College: TCU, 2016

He's worth a phone call and discussion. If he's recruiting coordinator at Tennessee he's got to be one of the best in the business. Tennessee's roster this year was damn good.
That wouldn't hurt my feelings. Vitello had never been a head coach before taking the Tennessee job.

Looks like a great hire to me.

How about Nolan Cain? He'd know how to recruit, he's been around some great Head Coaches, and would know who the great Assistants are to hire.
Good grief........those assistants are as much of a scum bag as he is!

Then why do the remaining players want Earley as HC?

Seems like they ought to know way more than posters on this board what went on in the program during the last month.
If Early wanted to stay here, he would've..........If those remaining "position players" leave because we don't get the Whisky Delta Early, then so be it!

AMF to any that don't want to be here, keep the team together and go back to Omaha next year.

No matter the next coach in Aggieland.

After all, we've all said, it's the players that really matter.

How does an Assistant Coach stay employed when there is no Head Coach? Don't be obtuse. The guy is looking out for his family. He had no choice. He can choose to come back though. Such pettiness is completely uncalled for. Its no different than calling out players going into the portal.

If he is so good and well liked, maybe he should put his name in the "coaches portal!"

After all, he would only be trying to...how does that saying go...."I'm only entering the portal to protect myself."

Schlossnagle's assistants aren't demons. They followed the source of their paycheck to Austin.

That having been said, I'm not interested in maintaining any ties to Schloss. I want Mingione from Kentucky.
That guy at Kentucky seems like a nice guy and emotional type (similar to our Buzz) but with only 1 good year on his resume out of 7 seasons there. Lol

Wow...that's one heck of resume for Mr. Elander. Been on the staffw under perhaps the top 3 coaches in the business. Well until a couple of days ago..

Where was Tenn at when they brought in V?

Are A&M's core values..optional? Who has the POWER to determine that? Are certain departments exempt? Why?

You're gonna have to walk me through this one to explain it...

It appears that "it's the players that really matter."

and yet also, F the players if they like their position coach. They should all leave?

Unlike some I also have no issue with Tom Walter at Wake Forest being the skipper. Can still get Earley. And he coaches in the ACC. Ideally we get an experienced HC from either the ACC or SEC.

No offense but you may need to step away from the keyboard awhile. We will never hire the right coach with that kind of approach. Newsflash - life isn't always black and white. There are shades of gray.

"No offense," but I'm not seeking your opinion!
