No, I don't. Because they are kids. I don't expect them to react like mature adults. Because they aren't.histag10 said:

Still don't want to blame any players?

Stewart and Sdao staying in CS are HUGE components of next year's pitching staff.
We will lose some dudes, but we will have a really good roster next year.

Been saying this exact thing to my friends, why do I go support A&M sports, they aren't A&M. I am A&M, my dad is, my grandfather is, but the coaches and players clearly aren't. They are hired mercenaries that have nothing to do with my school. So why do I support them and pretend that they do ??? I Feel like I have been lied to and got played. The whole thing feels like a scam, I am not actually cheering for A&M, these guys aren't A&M, but my brain is having a tough time telling my heart that.
You weren't lied to. You were a dope with his head in the sand. We all were at one point.
Some of us figured it out before we ever gave any money to the TMF. Others wasted some money learning it.
Wasn't really a dope, been feeling this way since nil, I don't donate, just saying I went to games and took
My kids bc I wanted them to be passionate about A&M the way I was when I was a kid, but it's pointless now, it's not A&M, it's pure trash
I'm starting to really like this lady. All I do is Nguyen said:

Summer of 2020 I realized it was all a farce and complete waste of time and emotional capital to care one bit about any sports team, college or not. I am CONTINUALLY proven correct.
I wish some of our posters had the cajones this lady does. All I do is Nguyen said:
For what it’s worth Schloss was my neighbor up until about 3 months ago and I made sure to take a piss in his yard every chance I got

I really began looking at things this way when my kids started playing sports, and especially when my daughter began playing open class softball. The time spent catching for her or taking notes at her or my son's hitting lessons far outweigh any joy from a win in football or baseball. I've watched/listened to several Aggie Football and Baseball games over the past couple of years while sitting in the stands at her tournaments watching her mow down hitters or hitting a 2-run double, and was on the field smiling watching my son receive a ring after his team won the tournament when A&M lost on Monday. It hurt, but not much.Sea Speed said:
Exactly. Treat it like a movie or reading a book. Something that is entertaining and wastes some time, but isn't something that ruins your day or causes turmoil in your actual life.
Looking at fandom from afar these days, it is incredible the things people do when they convince themselves they have some sort of effect on the results of the game. Yelling at Kyle is one thing, but changing your behaviors at home or elsewhere is quite another.
And to the Texas fans that are in my DM’s or responses saying boo-hoo, Google me. You’ll get a nice little reminder.

Maybe she's implying that her son gave 100% and was hurt for naught because of Schloss.Ervin Burrell said:Glad she's pissed and telling the world, but is she trying to imply that Braden getting hurt was somehow intentional? Or was he "at risk" in another way?aTm2004 said:agcrock2005 said:
Oh chit!
Have you ever read social media from any other fanbases? Yes, other fans have the reactions we have. Administrators at other schools get outbid. It happens.BadMoonRisin said:
Serious question:
are all coaching changes a full out, five star, blown out **** shows, or just the ones at A&M?
Second question if it's only at a&m -- why?
I think i just lack perspective of paying attention to other teams coaching changes, but it always seems we get embarrassed every single time.
They aren't kids anymore. While young they are adults and now they are pro athletes. These 19 or 20 yo kids are now, in some cases, making more money than the vast vast majority of the adult population and theySean98 said:No, I don't. Because they are kids. Look at this board, full of 30, 40, 50+ year olds and ask me how I'm supposed to hold a 19 or 20 year old kid responsible. We don't even expect them to be able to drink a beer or rent a car.
You're mostly right, and have to remember that. I just enjoy sports. I miss being able to compete in sports, not that I was ever much of an athlete. I enjoy watching sports with my friends, and talking about the games with friends who are also sports fans, whether they went to A&M or not. Still enjoy that.Quote:

Due to the recent coaching changes at The University of Texas I have decided to request the release of my NLI and open up my recruitment to all schools interested.
