I don't think it makes any sense for him to throw the game. I mean that only makes him less valuable. It did wonder why swap outfielders. I'm pretty sure Jace would have got that ball. I think Stew could have gone a little bit longer but none of that points to throwing the game. I mean you would have to have pre-knowledge of future events to make that happen.

If he was getting 35 million 10 yrs guaranteed then he wants the Aggies to lose

Put the $ up for the attorney. Do it!

At least write to the chief legal counsel.

When someone shows that they have no honor or integrity, anything underhanded and deceitful is plausible.

I can't believe he threw any of the two games. His mind probably wasn't fully in the games though. Just because he's a good coach doesn't guarantee he'll ever have this chance again. Why would you throw that away. Very easily may never be in Omaha again

Coaching didn't have much to do with our batters not hitting pitches.
it can when our guys are clearly told to not swing on first pitches

Tortious interference is the phrase that should be used. Discovery could be very interesting as far as timelines, fiduciary duties, contractual obligations and tampering.

Schloss has shown he's a lot of things in the last 24 hours. But he wanted to win that game. Now if he was off his game a little bc of the big secret he was hiding. Maybe so but I did not notice anything.

Every time they panned to him in the dugout, he looked dazed and in another world. I don't think he threw the game, but it 100% affected his coaching!

I thought he may been drunk/medicated.

Lol, if you think he'd do that you haven't been paying attention. The man wants to win.

Also, if you think our players would have participated in anything like that, you are delusional.

What I'd be concerned about is if he's been recruiting with as much zeal as he would have if he had been staying. And if he was recruiting players to play for Texas A&M or to play for him.

I don't think it's in him to to throw it intentionally. Why coach just to lose? But it was definitely a distraction and he never should have agreed if Texas was going to announce it on the day of game 3. If he started talking to players about leaving before today, that's pretty sick.

I understand some of those words. Let's get his ass

It's exactly what the sips would have done if the shoe was on the other foot. You know how I know that? They floated a trial balloon with this when we left for the SEC.

And that's why we always lose, because we aren't willing to play for keeps.

He threw the game indirectly. Distracted. Never left the dugout to fight for the players, the last two games the players were flat and out coached………

THIS WAS NOT THE SAME TEAM vs TENN

The only reason we got close to winning was the players, not that PIG…….

I don't care that he left but the way he left…….a pure rat.

Would not surprise me if t.u. paid some extra money to make this happen. They have a long history of cheating. See t.u. fan/referee that made a bad call allowing t.u. to win our last football game against him.

If he told a single player or multiple players Sunday night as has been alleged, I'd be all in on going after him and possibly them (tu). Depose the players under oath and get the truth.

I've been trying to convince myself it was a hell of a comeback but fact is the pitcher threw too many wild balls. That was a 6-3 game that just felt better due to some jitters.

BS. Any normal human being would not give 100% in his position to win. Cause what did he really have to lose? He has proven he has no honor or integrity….. so no way he gave 110% effort …… and can anyone not truly believe that a few players knew as well? Good men don't always justify everything because of dollars.

It's old school Texas Mafia politics. They are the real control of tu. Anyone that has lived in this state for 50 years and not know that is tremendously naive.

A college world series. Even if he wasn't doing it for the university or for his team, you can bet he was doing it for himself. He's never won one. That was the closest he's been and he's not guaranteed to ever get that close again. I'm confident he gave all in that series because anything else would be acting against his own self interests. And you know how self interested he is.

If 3 assistant coaches are already gone, this has been on the works for awhile. He's known. He's recruited them out. Odds are they've been checked out for awhile.

It wouldn't shock me if they just weren't trying at all. **** him.

Throwing Wilson in g2 was highly suspect. One of our worst ERAs in the Pen.

Don't give me the "we couldn't maintain a 1-0 lead vs the vols" the other 5 pitchers were able to blank em that game

Watch one of Kent's at bat and ask yourself what are the 2 best counts for a hitter to come out of his shoes if he gets his pitch. With a 2-0 count, he looks into the dugout, at Schloss, and watch his reaction. He was pissed because he was given a take sign. I know you know baseball and in that situation, with the game on the line, why would any coach ask his, arguably, hottest hitter to take there. I was shaking my head and repeating a mantra I've had for many years, coaching genius is an oxymoron. It was a completely stupid and puzzling call. Kent took and got a fat strike.

He didn't have to intentionally throw it. He just had to be a little preoccupied. Plus, players knew and eventhough they are highly competitive, it's never a positive to question your leaders loyalty.

He freaking used up our only pitcher in a meaningless game against their best starter. Left the pitching staff thin for game 3. That's all I got.

This.

sips announced the firing a few hours before we took the field for the chance to play the only big 3 sport championship in any of our lifetimes just to screw with our chances of winning it and you don't think that they wouldn't have suggested that he give something far less than 100% effort? If you don't think that they at least "joked" about him throwing the game then you don't know sips. He didn't take the damn sip job because he has any love or respect for A&M and what benefits us hurts him & his new employer. At least recognize and wake up about that .
