If a runner is on and no outs I would tell Travis to not swing at a single pitch but square around on all and pull back no matter what.


Probably a dumb idea but it would get corners to crash, maybe draw a walk, prevent a double play, maybe draw a passed ball/wild pitch.

I think they said he struck out 7 times in championship series in Omaha. May want someone else in the 9 hole.

I think he should just bunt regardless. No one on, 2 outs, 2 strikes, bases loaded, whatever

He's in the starting lineup. He's a guaranteed out as of late. He even struggles getting a decent bunt down to sacrifice a runner over. I'm in agreement. He doesn't need to swing and hit into a double play. He needs to either lay a bunt down or square and pull back and hope he gets hit or gets walked.

Let's remember that he hit .322 in SEC play this year. It isn't like he can't hit against high caliber pitching. He's shown that he can, and there's no reason him breaking out of it can't be one of the stories of tonight.
