It was great to watch us crush Tennessee 9-5 in Game 1 of the College World Series. As a result, we have improved to 9-0 in the NCAA tournament, and we are one win away from winning out first ever World Series championship.

I made the trek with Mom on Thursday (6/13) and drove back (alone!) last Tuesday. The best was getting to spend Father's day with her early in the AM after we beat Florida. Dad (Class of 72') passed away in 2007 so that was a pretty special moment for us.

Mom (Class of 76') is still up there and has attended every single game so far! She's the best = )

I can relate. I was accepted to become a Sea Aggie and after a year could transfer. Unfortunately they didn't have a baseball program and I was offered an opportunity to play college ball at TWU. Thanks for buying our Law School btw. I drive by downtown Fort Worth and see the progress that you're making on the new campus which is very impressive.

Ultimately, I spent 1.5 years at Purdue and then transferred to complete my degree from TCU so that I could be closer to my father during his final months. No regrets.

TCU won the Men's Tennis Championship this year and I can't tell you how any times I roamed around the old golf course beneath Tut Bartzen's tutelage in the mid 90's, Bittersweet. I never wanted to attend TCU but here I am. They accepted me back so that I could spend my Father's final days closer to him. Life is funny sometimes, but Loyalties are forever.

Praise Jesus for the amazing victory last night! And even more, praise Him for the victory He gives us eternally!
