I've waited a long, long time. Since well before the previous best 1989 team. Can't say my whole life though. I'm guessing when I was less than 1, I only thought about titties. Come to think of it...that's still all I think about. Probably. And Aggie baseball.

I'm calm right now. My eyes are burning a bit but that's just because I just took/left a dump. Opening another beer. This will be an all nighter.

So glad so many of Y'all are making the trip. I am definitely a tourist on the baseball board from March til June every year

I love Olsen Magic even though I don't get out there often

The baseball ( and softball ) board is the best bunch of people on Texags

I met Pat Olsen the day they opened the ballpark. We played USC. Made quite the impression on a young boy. My dad thought they were crazy to build it. Said we'd never come close to filling it.

I just got back to the house from the game. It was fantastic.

I dodged a lot of deer and dealt with a lot of rain on the way home. Worth every minute.

I'm surprisingly not as nervous as I thought I'd be! In the past I think the mindset was "we have to be lucky to win the CWS," but now we're just GOOD. I'm fully convinced the better baseball TEAM will win this weekend… and I like our chances!

This is me, too, for the most part.

But my 15 year old softball playing daughter who stayed up with me until 1 AM the other night was pretty amused by my celebration dance on the final out.

I cried because I missed it!! my dog needed to go outside so I thought this will be real quick and I came back in the game was over!!!! But that's OK. I intend to watch the winning play when we beat Tennessee for the series and I'll witness the dog pile in real time.
