This sounds so dumb but, I've waited my entire life to make the ship in baseball. Named my kid Olsen as a middle name it means that much. I have the Olsen letters in my backyard. They've moved a me through some tough times. Grew up literally and figuratively in Olsen. I cannot get my **** together I'm so proud of these guys. anyone else's eyes burning?

I feel kinda like a bandwagon fan. Have grown up a diehard Aggie football fan and been to many games and when Acie Law came around I found basketball but these next 2 games will be my first Aggie baseball games I've ever attended.
I'm very happy for you folks that are diehard baseball fans and have been through everything waiting on this day!

I'm beside myself but we have to get two more. I grew up with Aggie baseball, starting at Old Kyle Field and then Olsen. Lived it and breathed it. There for joy and heartache. Let's finish it off, Ags!

I was a WRECK in the 8th and 9th innings and for about 30 minutes after the game ended. I'm glad we get a couple of days to rest, but I also want to play Tennessee tomorrow.

GOOD! Just so much GOOD. I've watched Aggie baseball without ever letting myself emotionally buying in (thanks Aggie football). This team doing it the right way. Win or lose, this team has got me fully in.
Diehard since 1987. This is the one I want more than any other team or sport. I was a student from '90 - '94. Suffered through Baton Roue in '91, Gainesville in '92, the Rice Supers, the TCU supers, the trips to Omaha, watching Todd Walker bomb the previous best team in history in '93...this is our time. This staff is locked in.

Ag class of '72. I am in heaven; just seeing us get to the championship game is surreal. I have been waiting for over 50 years to see us in a National Championship game in one of the three major men's sports.

I hear ya. I was trying to plan about 6th inning and my husband told me he would poke my eyeballs out with forks if I didn't stfu and wait till the last out. So, now I'm scrambling. But got rooms for Sat/Sunday so the rest is YOLO.
Admittedly new to celebrating Aggie baseball success, so I took a page from my football traditions and had a couple of drinks. Now I'm seeing all these posts from the calm and collected.

We already had flights booked and the Double Tree in May (all easy to cancel), but did not want to jinx it.
I was looking at different hotels towards the end of the game and asked my wife when they hit 2 outs in the 9th to rebook us....of course Ali (which was awesome) turned the double play. Had to rebook quick!

They are going to have the time of their lives
It's still a tad bit surreal. I've never doubted they could go all the way, but also know that baseball is a crazy game. I'm elated yet still in shock a little bit
