5 of 8 "National Seeds" made it to Omaha.

7 of 16 Regional Hosts made it.

I'd say fairly normal. Usually you get 4-6 national seeds and about 6-7 regional hosts

a bit more chalk in 2024 with 7 regional hosts making it to Omaha

last year 5 regional hosts made it

in 2022 only 4 regional hosts made it

in 2021...6 regional hosts reached the CWS

In regards to regional hosts making it, it seems like the regional round is where most the chaos happens. If you're a National seed that survives your own regional then odds are you advance to Omaha

2022 was a weird year where a lot of regional hosts got upset early. 2021 was more the norm with 6 regional hosts making Omaha

The condemned do not get to death row only the day before execution.

There were 64 teams on death row fighting for a pardon. 56 cells are now vacant.
