Death Row updated. 31 teams contemplating mortality this morning. 1 team (Fayetteville regional) will go straight from loss #1 into the fight for their life, due to weather.

2 regional hosts (Arizona and ECU) are looking to be cut down in the prime of life.

Last year I updated the OP 59 times and Death row 111 times. Definitely don't have the time to update that frequently this weekend (blame my children!), but I'll be doing so as often as I can.

Thanks for doing this. Replace VCU with Wake Forest. Top two seeds lost to underdogs in that regional yesterday. Big time losers bracket matchup there.

Looking at the last 10 years of regionals there's an average of TWO teams per year that fight their way back to win the regional after starting 0-1. In 2014, '16, '17 and '23 three teams won. In 2022 none of the 0-1 teams made a Super.

I like Wake to do it this year.

by "NCAA play" do you mean last year's playoffs? I'm not too concerned by what happened against Skenes in 2023.

Until yesterday's 3 hit shutout against VCU they had scored 8, 9, 6 against Pitt, UNC, FSU.
