Last year I nearly made a catastrophic mistake. It was Friday of Regional week, and I hadn't done my duty. The Elimination Gong thread was unposted. Maybe I lost sight of it in the Stanford Marine layer. Maybe I was in talks to merge 90% of the thread with the Big Ten, Big 12, and ACC forums leaving the Gong as a footnote in baseball history. Or maybe I was just chasing 4 kids around as summer started and forgot about it. The world will never know.

But we were almost left to anarchy. If a gong never sounds, is a team actually eliminated? So I was determined to not fail again. I set reminders for the next few years on my calendar, and my Google Home greeted me with a happy "Start Baseball Thread" reminder when I awoke this morning.

So here it is. On time and ready to echo the fate of 63 teams to the ends of the earth. Happy Gonging.

Man talk about a season of contrasts for TCU. Going from from being one of the last defeated teams at the beginning of the season to at the end of the season not making the tournament would be rough. Also noticed that Tceh didn't even make the tournament either.

So glad we got Schloss over Tadlock or anyone else for our coach.

I honestly would've had not a lot of feeling about P Baylor one way or the other until I made the mistake of venturing over to Killer Frogs after the '16 regional. Maybe one of 3 times I've ever gone over to another teams site, that's typically not my thing but some morbid curiosity got ahold of me that night. And let me tell you, the level of d*****baggery and a**holery toward A&M was beyond what I'd ever even seen from the likes of tceh or swamptard. I had no idea they despised us like they did. Absolutely made my blood curdle in that moment where I was already crushed.

So F them. Forever. That regional game two years ago was glorious

Not questioning the reason just for most of the A&M fan base Purple baylor is an afterthought except on the baseball board.
