We haven't lost a game outside of the SEC and we don't have an SEC team in our path to Omaha, but some people are mad… lol

Amazing isn't it. This is a great bracket for us.

I mean it's not a bad draw and it sets up a pretty likeable run to Omaha. But it's just SO boring and predictable

Glad this forced-for-TV crap is over next year. If there's one positive to this sh**show

Some of you guys are just never happy. Truly. Just be happy that we're hosting. Be happy that we're in the tournament and be happy that we could make it back to Omaha. There's other teams that would love to be in our position.

And there's other teams we'd love to play.
One of my favorite memories from Olsen was meeting fans and players from Lemoyne when they played at our regional. It was an absolute blast for both groups.
The sips and the cajuns are horrible guests and might as well have time shares in CS... the consternation isn't unwarranted.

So so so happy with our bracket.

Are there really people complaining.

Talk about clueless. We have a great draw!!!!!!

I cant imagine whining about a super easy regional just because you don't like one of the other teams. dont get your feelings hurt, just win the ballgame. Cajuns will do their part.

it was a favorable draw.

Yep. And anyone that thinks Texas has "pull" with the committee anymore is in denial.

Stark change from not long ago with these same 3 + Tech, Houston, TCU, Baylor, Sam, Tx State, Rice, etc. Weird times.

Then explain to me how West Virginia is in the Tucson Regional? It seems that is outside the 400 miles trip limit.

They may be happy about the TV angle, but the selection rules direct them to keep teams within the 400 mile bus distance as much as possible.

Tell that to Nicholls and Tulane.
Neither is within 400 miles of College Station, according to the NCAA mileage calculator

First, they set the field and assign seeds, Then they start placing by geography. Eventually they get to a point where someone has to travel. They minimize the number of teams traveling but can't eliminate it altogether.

And I would love to date Thor, but it ain't gonna happen.

Be happy with what we have. God willing you have years of Aggie sports ahead of you. No one is taking away your ability to mix and mingle with other teams or fans. Every school does have good and bad fans, regardless of what you want to think. So instead of wishing for something you don't have, be appreciative of what you do have.

But by all means if you want to keep complaining about it, go ahead.

It's Memorial Day for God sakes. Be grateful.

Really surprised Stillwater isn't higher on this. Maybe because I probably overvalue Florida.

along those lines...

Texas Tech misses regional play for the first time since 2015

Baylor's regional drought hits 5 years (2019)

Houston's hits 6 years (2018)

Rice's regional absence reaches 7 years (2017)

I think that's on me. I said they were bus trips earlier I think
Sorry, I looked up all 64 teams last night and this morning and it gets confusing.

Nothing for us (fans) to do now but endure the week that will feel like a month waiting to play ball.

Why did our team not yell/get excited like the others?
National seeds know they are in

Well that and I think they were probably watching the app feed. So they were delayed.
Well several of the team members waived at the camera and Monty leaned forward and stared at the camera until a team mate tapped him on the shoulder. I think they are simply trying to keep emotions at bay. Good practice at discipline.
It's dumb for any non-bubble team anyways. What are they supposed to be celebrating? They all knew we were a national seed

They celebrated when we were announced as #3 but ESPN didn't show it

They should have - it was a nice surprise

What are you talking about… you have two teams from Louisiana going to Corvallis, Oregon and one team from Louisiana going to Chappell Hill, NC.

it is definitely playing familiar teams once again

no variety until the SR round

The regionals are designed to be like that. They're called "regional" for a reason. Last year was definitely the exception.

Because all the other close slots, if any, were filled. Look at a bracket and look at a map. No regionals in Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama. Nothing at all between Athens and College Station. As a result, a lot of teams from that regional will be flying.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
among the traditional powers missing regional play altogether this season...

Stanford
UCLA
Fullerton
Miami
Louisville
Arizona State

plus TCU, Tech, Ole Miss, and other teams that are postseason regulars
