Still haven't received the survey

They only send it to people who donate to the 12th Man Foundation

I've donated to the foundation.
Maybe call them tomorrow?

Yeah I'm not sure.

But when you click the link to take the survey, you have to enter your email to which the survey was sent.

I agree, but didn't he say he didn't get a survey?

Have you purchased baseball tickets through the ticket office?
Not sure what other criteria might be.

No and yes. But it's been a few years since I bought tickets.

I left a comment in the last slide of the survey, but with expanded ticketed seating I really hope the students aren't an after thought. I get that they aren't big money drivers but its their ballpark for 4 years. If we remove the grass berm for more seating, I hope we are able to still accommodate a decently-sized GA pool.

Students are big money drivers to Texas A&M.

I graduated in 2012 and my first kid will be class of 2038.

What is the average cost of in state tuition .

Oh I know and do understand.

I also don't hold judgement for people not donating to the 12th Man Foundation in general. Putting kids through college, choosing other areas of needs to donate to, life, medical bills, etc.

Were all in different points in life.

I want the student section to stay on top of the visitors dugout.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions. The survey illustrations were done quick and dirty. The pricing breakdowns will almost certainly be much more refined, as they are now. I think they just didn't bother trying to carve out a GA section and a visiting comp section. The visitor comps and GA are not likely to move because, come NCAA tournament time, we have to have a certain number of tickets between first and third for visiting comps. For super regionals, the number is 600. Yet, you don't see that anywhere on the drawing.

Yea, clearly a high level directional draft. No way pricing structure will looks similar to that, too generic

I do hope the people making decisions know about this.

All too often, details like this get overlooked.

Yeah we'll see what happens I guess

Along those lines, if they're worried about revenue, Jack up the prices

I've always advocated raising GA prices if it means not getting rid of it

He's saying that a student's tuition at A&M does not fund athletics.

Only sports passes. However I thought they did have student fee charged for the remodel of Kyle

Sports passes are not a part of tuition. They are an add on and students are not required to buy them to attend school.

Unsure about the Kyle fee.

Did the survey give everybody multiple pricing options for the layout presented? In this thread I only saw the highest price options but during the survey it gave lower priced seating options as I went through it.
I didn't like that the per seat price was doubling so I only selected that I would renew 2 of my 4 season tickets at those prices, not sure if it is only showing the lower prices to people that say they would not spend that much more?

Basically, it laid out the entire park and said, if these are the prices, how many tickets would you buy and where? They didn't exactly ask you how many tickets you would buy at each level at each price. For example, I have lower deck seats, and in all 3 price scenarios, I said I would buy 3 seats in that section at the stated price. If a lot of high priority point folks snap up all those seats before I get a chance to select them, I would consider other sections in the park, but the survey didn't make that detailed of an inquiry.

Okay, so it did provide you with 3 different price scenarios, that's what I was wondering. I wasn't sure if people said "Sure, I'll just renew my 4 tickets at the highest price" if it then didn't even show the lower price scenarios.
TXAGBQ76

For every seating scenario, regardless of location, it typically offered three price ranges for 12th Man donation and tickets- i.e. would you buy tickets at this combo, would you buy tickets in this section at this combo, would you buy tickets in this section at this combo, would you buy tickets in this section at this combo, etc. it did this all the way around stadium for existing and proposed new seating arrangements.

Commentators for the ULALA regional title game were highlighting plans for the stadium renovation, and twice said the new capacity would be 16-18k. Did they see plans not made public, or were they just speculating? One of them mentioned that Schloss told him much of the current structure will be "torn down."

Such comments are inconsistent with the informed opinions on this thread and the capacity limitation imposed by not expanding the footprint of the ballpark.

I heard this too. I think a permanent seating capacity in the 11K to 12K range (plus whatever they want in the way of berms, playground, etc) is fill-able. I can't imagine that 16K to 18K is.

Would like it if we could put a podium or platform beyond the left field wall...with concessions or lease it out to a restaurant...bar & grill. Similar to what Minute Maid has. Perhaps accommodate some seating there as well.

Looks like we only have ~30 feet though and you can't get rid of the vehicular drive because that's used for fire department access around the rec center.

The large facade of the rec center is a bit unsightly.

Not for the first time, I wish we hadn't expanded that rec center. Building another one would have been better (and we have since done so).

Schloss probably was telling them his dreams and they took it as fact.

That one was not well thought out. We have rec centers everywhere now.

And who the **** is going to pay $600 to sit on the ground in the outfield???

Guess they could predict the future and see what the resale market was the final home series, Regionals, & Super Regionals...
