Posted this in the Schloss renovation thread but figured it warranted a new topic:

Just completed the survey. They are dreaming BIG. Forgot to grab screenshots to post so maybe someone can help out with that.

I do encourage everyone to add something about protecting GA/student seating over the visitors dugout. Losing that (and the atmosphere that comes with it) is my main concern with this renovation.

I thought the prioritization of 360 degree concourse vs batting cages was strange. I think it would be cool for some fans to walk around and see a friend, but I am in by seat buying a beer and not there to socialize wish someone I might know at the stadium during the game.

That's one thing that makes Kentucky's park cool. You never lose sight of the field even while buying a beer and you can easily walk around the whole field while still watching everything

Just wish all the respondents would say no bleachers, all chair back seating except maybe so grass berms in the outfield only for overflow.

I think the 2nd deck is perfect. Bleachers with backs. You can really sprawl out if you're early enough to beat the crowds.

So, you would have them reduce the number of seats in the upper deck just so that all seats (including the GA section) are chairbacks?

I think 10K is the sweet spot for attendance with decent standing room only options to bring it to 11K for the big games

Just whatever they do expand they should plan to expand again in 10 years. So don't build it to where you can't always be adding on

I along with many other Aggie friends are in our 60's, class of 1980's and bleachers with backs are ok but bleachers with no back support is no good and that is one reason we don't go to games now as we will not sit in bleachers with no back rest or berms. All of you will be there one day. Point being is as long as they have back rests, guess it is ok but all the nice stadiums I see in pro venues and many college venues have all chair type seating.

Holy crap - from $400/seat to $1200/seat in a 5 year swing. As long as they let me buy what I currently have I'd be cool with it.

I liked the patio idea out in left field. Keeps the space open, allows my wife and sister to remain entertained, and my mother and I can actually watch the game! Everyone goes home happy! (unless we lose, then nobody does)
