Schloss has a quick hook, no doubt. Sometimes it feels like magic button punching, and sometimes you wonder if he left some pitches on the shelf. I don't mind the overall approach though. Sometimes he's able to save guys for another day, like Asch today.
Schloss tries so hard to give some of these young pitchers a chance and they just refuse to throw strikes with a big lead. It has to be so frustrating for him.
