Asch has given up 6 runs this year. 4 HR. Definitely pounds the zone and is incredibly resilient. Rarely gets fazed. Solo HRs, especially in SEC play. I'll take it. He still worked 3 today to lock it down. 2 meaningless solos.

It was great to watch us sweep No. 6 Vanderbilt and outscore them by a combined margin of 36-6 to improve to 32-4 (11-4 SEC). We are second in the SEC West and one game behind 30-5 (12-3 SEC) Arkansas.

Great series sweep. To my mind, the key player down the stretch is Tanner Jones. I think we know what we are getting out of Prager, but if Saturday set the standard for Jones going forward, that's going to be a hell of a one, two punch.

What a fun day at the ballpark! It didn't start well; blue sucked bad; the whole stadium was a bit flat early on; and it was really hot and muggy.
There was a little noise when we scored those first 2 in the 3rd but it kinda fizzled again after that. As the game progressed, it got hotter but at least where we were in 201 actually felt better as the humidity seemed to burn off a bit. And from the bottom of the 5th on, the stadium vibe was absolutely awesome. Another perfect day at the ballpark with my '26 kid.
And with that, a little housekeeping to take care of:
