I miss midweek day games at Sam's old park. There was a pizza place right next door, and SHSU baseball was free. We'd get a pizza and a 2 liter coke and walk in with it. The crowd was nothing but old Ags. Was a nice half day off from work.

I enjoy their new one. Had a fun time in 2019 when we smoked them. But their stadium (and UH) made me really realize how spoiled we are with Olsen. It felt like a high school field

I remember calling in to work "sick" one random Tuesday afternoon to go watch a Sam day game before they had lights. Didn't think that one through and wound up getting absolutely roasted by the sun. Had to show back up to work Wednesday looking like a lobster.
