We'll see who we replace him with ...
One day at a time.
Is this confirmed or more of the same rumor that was going around a few weeks ago?aginlakeway said:

SCOOP: @LSUbaseball is hiring Nate Yeskie as its next pitching coach, @d1baseball has learned. Yeskie spent the last two seasons with the Aggies and helped them reach the final four in 2022. He also won @d1baseball Assistant of the Year honors in 2017 with Or St. #GeauxTigers pic.twitter.com/3QQLT4yZ23

I would expect Jim Schlossnagle to move fast on a replacement for Nate Yeskie. Some of the names I’ve heard as potential replacements would be pretty strong hires. Stay tuned. @AggieBaseball

You mean their head coach? Saarloos? Thought he was pitching coach before, and didn't hire a replacement?

Hilarious that all the corn dogs are thrilled with this hire due to his "resume." Guess they didn't bother to look at what he's done his most recent two years. Dude stole money from A&M.

Think one of the posters mentioned it perfectly earlier.TMartin said:
So was it money or personalities?

Probably thinks he's more likely to get a Head Coach job out of there. Their latest pitching coach got the Georgia job after only one season.
And Lsu recruits itself, especially now. Hasn't appeared Yeskie is recruiting elite here, so we need someone who can.

What do you want to hold the AD accountable for exactly? We know no details. Maybe they are paying him more than Schloss feels like he is worth and can use the money elsewhere.

Going to LSU is a "lateral" move? In what world?

He's going from a highly-funded baseball program in the SEC West to a highly funded baseball program in the SEC West. Yes, they have titles, and we don't. It's still a lateral move.
