Well you posted like you knew what happened and obviously you knew nothing. Why did you post that?HoustonAg2106 said:dermdoc said:Exactly.PWR85 said:

Okay I'll bite, what really happened then?

And I am very content to keep it to myself.

Our side is going to take the high road about what happened. The incentive to get a "narrative" out there is entirely on the LSU side. The hiring entity always comments and frames it. The exiting side usually takes the high road.
It isn't what happened no matter how much you think it "makes sense". It's disappointing that an Aggie would buy into the narrative because, you know, tic tok.
We will be fine and are moving on.

Use some critical thinking and answer your own question...........

Jay Johnson will say anything, to anyone, at anytime, to advance his agenda. He makes snake oil salesmen look high integrity.
Just be thankful Schloss is our coach.

It's funny to see how many on here have no problem with what is considered one of the top pitching coaches leaving. Also how many are blaming him for this year's pitching woes. I believe ERAs were up this year as K zones got tighter.
Also can't say there was alot left over from the RC era. Detrmer the big name, Cortez...... How many freshmen were aces across the country? Expectations at A&M don't seem realistic.
Schloss has 5 CWS trips more than anything A&M has ever seen. Also most games won at the CWS by any A&M coach. I would like to think he knows how to run a program.
The real question is why are we not holding our ADs accountable? Is LSU money wipping us? Why can't we get our house in order?
Are you saying schloss has seen more CWS than A&M ever has? No. You need to google more
Are you really going to argue with him on this? Schloss has won more games in Omaha as a coach than Texas A&M has in their entire history. His point was that Schloss as a coach has more CWS appearances and wins than any coach A&M has ever had before hiring him.

I'm not sure I could watch Aggie baseball with Anderson as our pitching coach. Reading this just put a terrible feeling in my stomach.

In the end, Yeskie being gone will serve as a good thing. Jim will hire a young, enthusiastic pitching coach that is a great recruiter and who relates to these young men. Someone who knows how to use Social Media as an advantage. This will work out as a POSITIVE!
By betting you $5000 that we don't....And we will donate the winnings to the baseball NIL...powerbelly said:Biggame12 said:

How will you spin this when we hire a 60+ year old?
Frank has been in the visiting dugout at Olsen for decades, starting with his stint at Tech in the 90's when Larry Hays won by ignoring scholarship limitations. Then, he was an assistant at t.u. (helped Augie turn it around after a rough start). That helped him get the job as head coach at OSU.DTuba said:
Apologies as I'm a casual, why? Is it because he's been with Vitello for 5 years? Or something else?

Old is a moving target. Current age + 10 = Old
That is absolutely true about Evan. No matter how you look at it, our pitchers regressed under Yeskie. Let's hope he has the same results at LSU!TxA&Mhunter said:
I loved the Yeskie hire here and wish he would have worked out, that being said he didn't.
I felt like what he helped our pitching staff was calling pitches, but not development. To be honest we have had players regress with the mechanical changes that were made by him, the short list is Cortez, Brad, tucker, will, Det, and others just to name a few.
It is easy to forget Cortez, brad and tucker pitched in big spots last year even in Omaha but this year were virtually a non factor.
It's bothered me watching Det this year, seeing the changes made to his mechanics by NY searching for velo increase, which they found. But Ultimately ended up costing him sink and control…
And for those that wonder Evan was added to the spring roster by the head man because he threw strikes… not by the pitching coach ..
I'm still years away from being eligible for Medicare, so I'm not old, yet.trouble said:

However, regardless of age, one can repeat the same stories over and over again, like an old man. That's what I'm trying to avoid. I thought more of Chavis from LSU.twk said:

Your story reminds me a bit of A&M's hiring of Dennis Franchione. We were hiring the head coach from Alabama, and they didn't want him to leave. It had to be a good hire, right?
