I may be wrong, but I think...new rule this year, the highest seeded team is the home team in game 1-3.

Wake batter went on what should have been strike 3. Umps said no. Two strik, two out homer next pitch.

Don't mind Bama losing but it was pretty bad.

If they are considered the "higher seed" why is Southern Miss hosting? It may have to do with both being 2 Seeds, flip a coin to see who is the "home team" for the first game. Another coin flip to determine it if there is an if necessary game. Heck it is the NCAA, who knows what set of arcane rules they are following?

Yep. Bama got boned and then 1st base umpire (who wasn't involved in the screw job) gets all tough guy.

Also, this WF team acts 10x dewshier than Stanford or any other team I've watched in this SR round.

What is the deal with the Wake Forest pitchers hair?

The reliever looks just like the starter.

And Wake is a Baptist school. Think Baylor. Explains a lot of the dewsh behavior. And I am a Baptist and two time Deacon chair.

The behavior is consistent.

Sheesh, the only thing worse than a bad Blue is one with ego. Bad call or not, I could see it going either way live and full speed, let them vent a bit after it. If they carry on to excess, be a professional, toss who you believe should be toss and then just shut your trap.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood. ESPN's regular college baseball crews (yes even Ben McDonald when its not a LSU game) are generally pretty solid. I have no idea who is calling this game.

Umpires continue to get worse and inject themselves in the game . The final Bama hitter had ZERO chance . Those balls were nowhere close to strikes .

Actually I think it is a combination of iffy umpiring getting caught up in crowd cheering on the final out. Or maybe he just had early dinner reservations.

I mean clearly Wake Forest doesn't have a recruiting problem, but I can't imagine someone being "oh yeah, you are a highly talented, highly coveted player, we have state of the art facilities" then shows you pictures of what looks like a Ronald McDonald playhouse field with a straight face,
