And we all know that Wake will likely take Stanford, but would you want to be in the loser's bracket w/Tree?!?

The sooner LSU gets eliminated, the better imo. Direct SEC West competition

Well it doesn't look like we'll get a shot at a state of Mississippi "threepeat" in Omaha afterall.

They were both 2 seeds. Higher seeding didn't apply so it went straight to the coin flip like it has in years past.

The higher seed thing only came into play right before a coin flip was necessary.

Well…….even without sip there, there's certainly no shortage of villains in Omaha.

I'm pulling for Oral Roberts I think. Love that underdog

yep, no one wanted to see the Vols advance...

but they are entertaining (and annoying) to watch

left side of the bracket is loaded

Against the odds, four teams that lost the first game of the Super Regional went on to advance to Omaha. Two even did it on the road: Virginia, Stanford, ORU (@ Oregon) & Tennessee (@ Southern Miss).

Coming back Super Regional is not that big a deal to me, no near as hard as a Regional. A Super Regional is basically a three game series, just win two.

I don't disagree. Coming back through the losers bracket in Regional play appears to be a much more daunting task than after losing the first game of a Super but the odds are apparently about the same. The Aggies have come out of the losers bracket to win a Regional several times (and unfortunately a couple of times have been double dipped) but the reverse has yet to happen in Supers in which the Aggies have competed.

100% agree. Thus why I didn't understand that panic from may posters after Texas won game 1.
