I interviewed with the Oregon Athletic Dept way back in Sept 2000. I didn't get the job, but they were all really cool people. From 2000 to 2003 I looked pretty heavily for work in Oregon.

The McKenzie River at McKenzie Bridge, OR (about 60 miles east of Eugene in the Cascade foothills). My view on Thanksgiving Day 2003. My neighbor is pulling up in a kayak. This is serious fire county in the summer.

I'm sorry for you. I've flown into there probably ten times, and I've driven through it a few as well. I've never done anything in Portland though. I'm not really a city person.

yes, my husband planned it because I've always wanted to go and live my best hipster life, hike and be in Portlandia etc, but it was literally going to be like 36 hours and our flight was delayed where we'd miss the connection and therefore miss the whole thing.

no big, we'll go on a real actual nice vacation soon.

except eff The Little Hen in Houston, because when we tried to get fancy breakfast to console ourselves they wouldn't let us and said it was because my husband was wearing shorts and tennis shoes but the websites dress code doesn't say anything about that and he was perfectly fine and then she was not very nice when I explained that we had come from the airport missing our honeymoon and sp therefore that is a place I will badmouth any chance I get.

My wife went there recently. The confirmation email for reservations was ridiculous.

It's absolutely ridiculous for Skenes to be in NCAA baseball. He could have started this season in AA and been in The Show by the All-Star break.

The limited MLB draft in 2020 due to COVID-19 probably had a lot to due with him making it on campus in Colorado Springs that summer. Also not sure how much he has blossomed as a pitcher since high school. Funny thing his draft status has dropped recently. Still very high but seemingly not the sure fire top 5 pick anymore.

I thought LSU would be like the 2022 Tennessee team. Looks like I was wrong. That was a brutal beat down on UK.

With how suspect LSU's pitching has looked besides Skenes, I think UK still has a slight chance of going to Omaha. I hope that happens, because I can't stand those stupid swamp kitty *** hats.

Remember pig put a 21-2 stomping of NCSt. in the opening game of the 2021 Super Regional game in Fayetteville only lose the next two by one run each game so you never know. On the other hand, not a big fan of Kentucky's head coach, Nick Mingione. He is Tony V lite. All the attitude, much less than half the success.
