Meh. There are a lot of us that have been very realistic of expectations for this team this year. I don't believe we are all super positive, but we aren't calling for coaches to be fired and calling out individual players saying they suck and shouldn't be playing.

But the preseason high hopes were warranted.


Yes and no. Yes- we did really well last year. No- on paper we shouldn't have been that good last year, and that was carrying over to this year. We had a lot of holes in our lineup that needed filled.
The problem is that we DID fill some of those holes with Haas and Laviolette.... But guys like Bost and Thompson just did not produce. And Targac was REALLY bad. Kauffer didn't replace Claunch- I agree there.

The bigger issue was pitching.
