What are the odds this board doesn't go full meltdown, self-loathing, attack-your-brother/sister mode if we lose after last nights hoops game? I may just have to avoid TexAgs until next week.

We're coming off of the best baseball season in program history. No BAS here. Even if we lose to the #1 team in the country tonight.

Wind will be blowing in hard, so hoping for line drive base hits, being able to move runners over, etc, etc.

I am planning to be bundled up at Olsen this evening for my birthday!

Happy Birthday, fellow old!! No better place on the planet to celebrate. As a December birthday, I'm always jealous of people who can be at Olsen on the big day.

Growing up I'd heard from some old Ags about the football series we'd had with them in the old days. A series in which we went to Baton Rouge to play every single year. Then we somehow won a game or two and they canceled the series on us.

So I had a dislike of LSU before I ever saw A&M play them. We renewed the football series in '86, and LSU whipped us the first three seasons, then we dominated them from 89-95 (only one loss in that stretch), and guess what, they canceled the series with us again. Cowards.

Then 1989. That's all I'll say.

I also had a very bad experience at Tiger Stadium in 1990 (the one year we lost between 89-95).

The point of all this: I hate LSU at least as much as I hate tu and I savor every victory over them in every sport. Taking 2 from them in BR last year was glorious.

I don't know why but I have the strongest gut feeling we're gonna take this series. We'll see.

This it the other Olsen Magic and is true in Feb, March and April. However, somehow in May and June it switches over and is 20 degrees hotter.

Looks like the Total posted for this game is 10 1/2. Given the weather and the north wind, seems like the Under may be the way to go tonight.
