I'm going to be honest here. If I saw Howard in the dugout in uniform my first thought would be "how nice they let a special needs kid dress in full uniform and pretend he's on the team." And then when he took the mound I'd be like, "wow, that ****** can pitch!"

Agreed, but that's also a testament to pitching. Not all on the hitter for swinging at bad pitches ... he's throwing the combinations and locating them well.
