Welp, so far struggling in all phases.

It'll make it even sweeter if we can get back in this and find a way to win.

We just look like a team that's in a rebuilding year.

Which makes getting to Omaha really impressive.

I hate our 0-2 pitch calls. While a lot of teams use that as a throw away pitch, it seems like we never come close enough to the zone to draw the swing. If I am coaching against us, I tell my players to take that pitch every time. You'll likely be 1-2 after the pitch and almost as likely 2-2 with the next pitch call. Then the pressure is back on our pitcher.

Can anyone explain this other than how I see it?

I hate this attitude. When you get your chances with a good team or not so good one you have to make the most of it. We have not.

Childress is owned by two in state programs in TCU and tu period!

Agree. Hard to get upset. Disappointed we aren't playing better, sure....but this team had no business making Omaha and it took rolling a Hard 8 to get there.

3 seed in a regional for a reason.

I'd rather get there and lose than not get there. This has been a great season regardless of what happens today. You must have REALLY been miserable the years in which we we didn't get to Omaha. Right?

On one hand I know that we've exceeded expectation to even get here. On the other hand it gets old watching the big three sports consistently do nothing on the big stages (or not even get there).

Here's hoping for an awesome comeback.

TCU was preseason #1 and we weren't ranked, or barely ranked depending on poll

If this was Fullerton or someone besides TCU there would be a lot less anger. But, instead it's TCU and I want to ram my head through drywall.

Starting pitching was probably our biggest strength coming into Omaha.... I really hope the offense and bullpen can step up now
