Horrible AB by Coleman. Looked at pitch 1 which was the best pitch he got and swung at two that were no where near the zone. Our guys are obviously too tight!
61 strikes in 78 pitches also ... kid is having a helluva day.
Strategy vs. this kid the last 2 years is literally the exact opposite of how to approach him.
Credit to him for stepping up, but it's incredibly dumb to sit on his first pitch fastballs that he lays in there, and then go chasing his curves out of the zone trying to protect the plate once 2 strikes are on you.

Seriously. At least post images and not tweets and Instagram posts that autoload regardless of the "auto load" images setting.

I think Coleman has swung at about 5 sliders that were more than a foot outside. I would have seriously considered pinch hitting for him there with Gutierrez or some other lefty.

Watching us flail helplessly at this curve makes me wonder what facing Stripling was like for other teams.
this strike ratio looks so good because we watch first pitch strike and then go chasing stuff out of the zone for strikes 2 and 3. really poor adjustment to how they are pitching us.
I vote that we make fun of their pitcher's nose.
