Agree. Hard to get upset. Disappointed we aren't playing better, sure....but this team had no business making Omaha and it took rolling a Hard 8 to get there.

3 seed in a regional for a reason.
Yeah. And we're playing some really good teams. Louisville beat Kentucky bad, and we know they were a strong team. Plus, TCU is always good. We overachieved just to get this far.

However, watching this tournament is similar to watching my sons 12u team this spring....the tournament is fun and baseball is great to be a part of, BUT it's clear we are the least talented team here.

We have a beast of a young team. Zero chance this thing is over, they won't quit.

TCU is so confident right now, we have to rattle them a bit with base runners, foul off strikes, earn a walk, get a "simple" hit, and get in their heads when we're hitting.
I think RC will find the arm to calm their bats.

Yes. Getting there by getting hot at the right time, but getting mudholded while there and being outtalented by both teams we play. Honestly, we've never been elite under him. Ever.

My opinion from the stands here in Omaha so far is it should always be our expectation for the team to come out and compete well in every game.

So far they're not today. Game is far from over, they better play better otherwise it's going to get embarrassing.

Needed Kolek at his absolute best today and he wasn't. Fielders needed to help and they haven't. Should've been out of this inning already and we're not. Batters are lost at the plate right now and they need to adjust. If you're going to ask how, it starts with pitch recognition and eliminating pitches.
