The only way you hit a guy with great off speed is you hit the fastball, and Howard is throwing a first pitch fastball nearly every AB.

Our guys are taking long lazy swings at breaking balls instead of taking a short compact swing at the fastball in the zone. Shew is obviously the only one who has done it thus far. Rest of the guys need to hit the fastball to the opposite field - he's not throwing hard enough to blow it by guys. Let it get deep and take it the other way.
