Congrats on the win, Ags. It's been a great day for the SEC so far.
We played like absolute crap and made the game way closer than it should have been. Gave TSU 6 out of their 7 runs and prevented Poche from having the chance to break the career wins record unless we win it all. Our pitching was great, but having the defense make so may mistakes never helps.
Still, we won by 8 despite playing about as badly as possible, so I won't worry too much. The 2009 team struggled like hell against Southern in the first game, too

It's a complete rebid process. I believe the higher seed *should* host (if say a 2 and 3 advance) but that's not a rule, I believe.
I believe the two regional winners submit bids, and the NCAA decides which would be the better (more profitable) host site.
In 2014, the Rice and LSU regionals were paired, but the 2 seeds pulled the upset in both, and Texas ended up hosting Houston in the super regional.
It would be very plausible that A&M could host a super regional if FGCU wins in Chapel Hill. I can't imagine they have a big park.

The only interesting thing about the Big 10 today was the Nebraska game. FGCU and West Virginia are very good teams that beat some very good teams this year that today won games they were expected to win.
A Nebraska team with 20 losses that didn't finish the year particularly well losing a single game shouldn't be factoring into anyone's strategy in Houston or any other regional.
And Iowa is a strong 4-seed that finished the year playing good baseball, including wins over Nebraska and Maryland just last week. I'm sure that wasn't lost on the Cougars.
