Who knows for sure, but that 5 loss record of the '89 Aggies included 2 conference foes that DID make middle America.

Speaking of Pac 12, what has become of USC baseball? Once THE program of programs that even won fairly recently in the gorilla ball era by beating Arizona St. by a touchdown in a late '90s CWS. I'm sure there is one, but I can't think of a parallel example of a college football or basketball program that was winning year in and out IN A RECENT ERA (not talking about Harvard and Penn in football) and then, in a matter of a decade or so, hasn't been heard from.

ONE regional in the last decade (I think)!! KANSAS has done better than that.
