"Quit gerrymandering the strike zone!" Is still the yell that caused me to laugh the most out of all my years at Olsen.

I went to my fair share of games between 2000 and 2012 before I moved to Houston. The Raggies started off the largest in 205, then it moved down to 204, then the last few years I saw more Raggies in 203 than anywhere else. I have no idea what caused that before the renovation, after the renovation it was obvious they were shooing the students further down the first base line and away from the action where they were less effective.

I did notice a big swing from coordinated chants to individuals trying to "out-funny" each other, clearly doing it for attention. Maybe it was always like that and I just got older and grumpier.

Or maybe the current millennial generation grew up with participation trophies and helicopter parents and were shielded from real competition and heckling their whole lives and are simply not good at it.


You know what, scratch all that. Whenever they started speeding up the "Ball 5" chant... That's when Olsen went to *****

I still laugh my butt off every time an opposing team has a Bo or a Beau

Oh and just to let the Raggies know. You do make a difference. The tomahawk chant got to that guy. I could see it from my seats. Good job and mission accomplished. Keep it up.

I agree with Hoop. I cannot believe I am agreeing with Hoop, but yes, The Raggies were really good today.

The raggies were great today. By far the best so far this season. And #3 deserved everything he got. And more.

You guys have to find and take in and teach new people who really want to be apart of the Raggies. The torch has to be passed on because I have a feeling the Raggies might eventually die out. A&M is ever changing and in a really bad way. Not the same A&M of 20 years ago.

My first game as a fish, I had never been to an Aggie baseball game, nor knew anything about Olsen.
But I saw how active the first row of 205/204 was during pregame and wanted to be a part of that.
The entire first row was shoulder to shoulder, except for the last spot next to the stairwell.

I introduced myself and asked if I could sit on the end. The small handful nearest me said "Sure, c'mon. But you have to take an active part. And if you say something dirty or stupid, you'll be finding another seat."

That's how it should be, in my mind
