not sure I've ever seen a pitcher throw 110 pitches in 4 innings...and then only allow 1 unearned run

He was a few inches from giving up a 2 run triple and then he struck him out on a wild pitch 2 feet wide of the plate. Just because a decision works doesn't mean it was the right one, and just because a decision doesn't work that doesn't mean it was the wrong one.

Agreed, now we need 5 innings from someone else and chafin already gave us a couple on Friday
