Plus, I think I heard yesterday that they have only 7 sac bunts on the year as a team... Is that right? I'm starting to have a lot more respect for this TCU baseball program... Even with their absolute domination of us in recent years.

Their ability to play within themselves and the moment for the most part can't be overstated either... Can obviously be a killer.

It's a shame their fan base is still among the very douchiest in all of college sports, but that's the way it goes sometimes. It's not necessarily a reflection on the program itself.

Get used to it. Tcu will likely win it this year. They are also in position to be the most dominant college baseball program out there with the coaches and talent they bring in.

In the second, AZ strung 3 hits together, but the second one hit the first runner. Just bad luck!

Hard not to respect that style of playing the game... regardless of how disheartening it has been from our perspective.

UCSB is having trouble getting on base and when they finally do they get doubled off.

Is it just me or does it seem that several potential rallies in every game of this CWS have been snuffed out by double plays? Off to check the box scores of the games played so far.
