Seems like for the last month every time Hunter has two strikes on him, if the pitch is outside and low he just can't lay off of it. He's really struggling seeing the ball for some time now.

If Melton could EVER lay off the outside breaking ball he would be okay. But he just CANNOT do it. At this point I would think trying someone else might be appropriate if they can play first base. Right now Melton is really really hurting this team with his hitting.

I kept thinking that in the Thursday Vanderbilt game but Larkins, Vinson, and Ecker were nails. Hope they can repeat that combined shutout performance.
