The fact that he still made the play tho is my point dude. He freaking reached out and barehanded it while keeping his big toe on the bag. That ain't easy. Pitcher catching that high bounced ball by banks? Come on. Just not our night

Wasn't our basketball team down by 12 with 30 seconds left in the game and came back to WIN??
LET'S GO!!!

Where in HI are you?
quote:you seem really mad. We will likely always lose good pitchers, that is RC's specialty. We lose our bullpen this year too.quote:If you view things from the perspective of the beginning of the season maybe. Given the results from the rest of the season and our performance? It would be an absolute choke job. We will wait until the end of the season (better ****ing not be tomorrow) to discuss RC's overall postseason record. Eventually, you have to find a way to get past **** like tonight happening. I sure hope they do it this weekend. If there's anyone that can its this team - they better be pissed about their collective performance tonight though.quote:disappointment, sure. Absolute failure, not even close. Not with the pitching we lost from last year, Friday night ace being dismissed from the team. We have been piecing together starting pitching for more than half of the season.
Not getting to Omaha would be an absolute failure for Childress this year. Finally hosting a super, no excuse not to beat a younger and less talented team. Here's to hoping we come back and play tomorrow with fire, because this is the flattest I have seen this team all year. Hill led the way and others followed.
Btw, how many years in a row are we going to lose our ****ing Friday starter??

Please let this guy choke. I've always been amazed at how no one ever seems to choke against us in any sport.

quote:If the Aggies don't come back and win this series it absolutely does mean that TCU has the better coach. It's called having your team prepared to compete in a Super Regional at home. The best team of your tenure with a resume that boggles the mind. A&M's veteran team vs TCUs rebuilt overachieving team. That coach for TCU would deserve that credit. Especially in the face of revenge and what not. He will have beaten Rob twice when it counted. With a veteran team and a scrappy young team. Accomplished over two of the Ags most storied teams. Home and Away.
It's amazing to me how many people have apparently never watched a baseball game in their life.
Even if we lose tonight, and even if we lose tomorrow that doesn't mean that TCU is the better team, or better coached, or anything else. There's a reason MLB plays 162 games... and even then a 7 game series isn't a large enough sample size. In a best-of-three, all bets are off. That's just how it works.
