They'll talk about whoever is winning, or their recent history, because they've been given a sheet of mildly interesting facts to fill up air time. They don't know a thing about TCU or A&M, so they'll just talk about whoever is hitting, or striking people out, or winning. Announcers don't follow college baseball all year, they're just trying to not run out of things to say by the end of the broadcast.
