They gave up a pretty decent amount of runs in those games in Starkville, too (5 and 6 in the last two games). 5 runs, like earlier today, should be plenty for a team with a solid Friday starter.
To be blunt, we still don't know what our rotation is for the weekend in the SEC because we don't have 3 guys (or maybe even 2) that are going to give us consistently good SEC starts. We're throwing in a group of freshman and a few sophomores with no weekend starting experience to because the upperclassmen have struggled with control all season. We pretty much have to score a ton to win a series because a couple of shutdown starts hasn't been part of the script this season.
Exactly. This is not aimed at you Lance. They've given up runs on the road but still managed to sweep them. The original comment was hopefully we can get a national seed to make getting to Omaha easier. Then al of the dumb ****s in here start bashing the team. It's amazing how quickly people turn on their own team.
Yes Omaha is away from Blue Bell but I'd rather have to win only a few games on the road, rather than pitch the **** out of our bullpen in the super and then again in Omaha.
Some of you in here have already decided that if you can't win in Omaha you shouldn't even try to go. Some of y'all need to get laid
