Aggie Baseball unveils new pinstripe unis

It's busy these days around Olsen Field.

First, Texas A&M Baseball was ranked preseason No. 4 by D1Baseball and No. 3 by Baseball America. Now?

New uniforms.

On Tuesday the A&M Baseball Magic Twitter account revealed a close-up and a DJ Khaled-inspired look, among others, at some fresh new home uniforms — white with maroon pinstripes (and a big beveled logo, but we won't talk about that).

It would have been nice to have the old Texas Aggies across the front but still nice to see classic pinstripes.

Another example of how Adidas does not know how to design sports uniforms.. I like the pin-stripes, and I don't mind the logo.. but, it is too big. That large embroidered patch will be stiff and cumbersome and will possibly be distracting, especially when the temps and humidity both hover around 90.

Logo way too big, and when it is hotter than blazes, that sewn on logo is not going to move. Like a poster above, Adidas cannot get it right. I do like the pinstripes.

Agree. Logo way too big and the bevel is hideous.

I agree the ATM patch is a bit to big, and I think the numbers should be on the lower right side of the jersey, but it's not a bad look.

Far better than this horrible alternate we used to have under Smoke Laval. We had a lot of ugly uniforms in the Smoke Laval era. This one was the worst. It would literally hurt people's eyes staring at the reflective material in the LSU patches. The players hated them. So did the fans. They lasted all of one season, can't remember which.


I'd take pinstripes any day over a jersey like that.

I really really really hate the stupid post season uniforms we had. Looks like a damn world baseball team uniform. Why can't we just stay with the same 2-3 classy uniforms design every year? Why do we have to change every year?

Even though I agree with wishing it said Texas Aggies, I'd still pick one up, just to have the pinstripes, if they have them available. It's always almost impossible to pick up jerseys, until you make it in person to Olsen.

Nike did the big logo thing in their last couple years and Adidas has done it a couple times too. Not really a fan. We're not the Yankees. And our logo doesn't work as well in that space.

Despise the bevel. We could use it 20 more years, and I think that would still be my first reaction.
