Kent was awesome, but at 108 pitches in this heat, he was done. If Cody Jones had gotten a hit out of the infield, some here would have blamed RC for leaving Kent in too long.

After Choruby, Blake is our best defensive outfielder, and has a plus arm.

Didn't like them pulling Kent seemed like he still had gas in the tank. Good to see Hendrix get out of the inning. Too much stress almost like watching a State game.

Me. I've been watching years of Aggie baseball, and we get incredible dominant performances from our pitchers, but Childress leaves them in just a few pitches too long, and it has costs us many games. I'm glad it's worked out so far this game.

That's the gamble with pitching changes. They score, you left him in too long. Pull him and they still score, you pulled him too early. It is only a good decision if they don't score. Managers have a losing proposition.
