Jester has had a strange year in AA ball. Overall, 40 appearances, 2-4 with a 4.33 ERA and 6 blown saves in 6 chances. He had 2 really bad outings where he gave up 12 earned runs in 1.1 innings combined. Take that away and his ERA was under 3.

He is also the only pitcher on the current Missions roster to have not moved up or down a level the entire season.

San Antonio and Corpus are currently playing each other in the AA playoffs. I would guess All Texas League pitcher Corbin Martin gets the start tonight in game 2. Hooks 2nd baseman Ryne Birk hit .216 in the regular season.

Postseason baseball is here. So in the NL the Braves have Minter and the Dodgers have Stripling. That means at least one Aggie will be in the NLCS. Doesn't appear that Mengden make the As roster for at least the wildcard game. Naquin is on the DL and wont be on the Indians roster.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Logan Taylor's chance for a cup of coffee by the end of this year or into next with Seattle.

He's had a peek at AAA the last two seasons, but spent the rest of last year in AA hitting .270 with some pop. With Seattle's rebuild mode, he might find himself as a backup option should Kyle Seager find himself traded or hurt. I think Logan will start the season in AAA as the Rainiers currently do not have a true third baseman on their roster. That may change after spring training bumps one of the 40-man roster guys down, but I think he might still be on their short list.
