I decided tonight that Agee is like if Bryan Davis was in Joe Jones' body
Only 5 turnovers. That's a team Dawg OTG. But only 11/20 (55%) on free throws puts them in the dawghouse. Great win on the road!

Clemence was awesome tonight. He fought for a lot of contested rebounds. He was dawgish all night.

I posted after last game that he usually has a shorter man on him and should be shooting over them more. I should have said a jump shot, not a set shot.

I predict Clemence to be borderline all conference type player next year . Get him just a little more lower body strength and he's a huge matchup issue.

Just be what he has been for the past few weeks consistently + 20 % in the paint and we're there imo. No easy thing for sure but you can see the potential can't you?

I dunno, I think he's a good Robin if there's a Batman like Agee out there eating the other team's best post defender. As a primary post man I dunno. Maybe. He'd need to build some bulk like you said but without losing his outside shot. He'd also need to spend all summer finishing shots around the basket. He's the only big I've ever seen who's worse in the post when being defended by a guard.

I think finishing at the rim is totally a confidence thing. I agree tho that he's not Batman … he's a Robin. We need a Batman inside .
Having said that a 6 ' -11" Robin that can shoot 3's with an enforcer inside guy coukd be deadly . Add Mgbako at 6 ' 9"and you have quite the quandary for opposing defenses.

To me if felt like a play he thought he was supposed to make instead of one he actually thought would work. Like nothing about that drive looked like he was committed to it.
Clemence is learning how to be a key player, not just a role guy, given he sparingly played at ku. He really is growing into this and it's fun to watchhalfastros81 said:

His transfer reminds me of coleman coming here from duke. Different games. But same idea of learning to take charge of the game at this level.
