Not the same as Coleman imo for several reasons . Different skillsets and totally different approaches by the coaching staffs. I liked Coleman a lot but he was not a fit for this style.

That's not to say another year of Coleman wouldn't have helped this team but it wasn't an option .

They both make tough layups and miss easy ones.

I don't think Tyler davis was the leader of that team. More of a lead by an example type guy imo.

I think he was definitely a leader in 2018. Maybe not a very good one since the whole team took turns getting suspended, but he was trying.

I don't mean their games are similar.

I meant going from blueblood role guy... To being a key player for a&m. That's an adjustment.

Clemence has more upside than coleman bc of length and shooting differences.

I can't remember A&M having a big man leader like Agee. He is special.

Iirc
Traylor was pretty good
Name might have been Taylor
Nickname TractorTraylor

I decided tonight that Agee is like if Bryan Davis was in Joe Jones' body

I was just think something to that effect. Bryan Davis was a vocal leader. Jones bullied people.

I was thinking of Davis too. I remember him barking at DeAndre Jordan for not playing hard. I liked Davis much more than I liked Jordan (and that is an understatement).

Absolutely. DeAndre was a puss.

Milwaukee picked Dirk and traded for Traylor. One of the biggest gaffes in nba draft history.

Joe "Big Money" Wilbert played like Agee. Joe was one of the best players to suit up for the Ags. He had a dynamic style of play just like Agee. He was 6' 6" or 6' 7" but routinely went against guys 4 or 5" taller. It was fun to watch him work.

He dealt with Texas Tech hecklers when he wasn't blocking shots, pulling down rebounds, or scoring.
It was the Barone era and Joe didn't have a supporting cast like this team has. I wish Bucky had a guy like Joe to play with this group. Joe was an enforcer but just like Agee, he played with touch as much as he played with power.
