Yeah I mean I get it, they also don't have some of the star power some of these other teams have from a draft standpoint, I'm just saying for a team that's won two titles lately they're kinda just cruising along not grabbing a ton of attention. A bit like Oregon in football in 2024 where they were like top three all season and I don't think I saw a single one of their games.

I think it is two things:
1. P4 conferences dominate TV contracts so Big East gets lost in all the content.
2. We are all in denial Danny Hurley is going to win another national championship.

Some of you may have paid attention that I used to be a season ticket holder for Nebraska basketball. Since I moved away, I still have an active text thread with some friends there and watch almost all of their games. It's incredible that they are 20-0. They are extremely sound in all phases of the game. They play excellent team defense, and do not make a lot of turnovers. They have already won at Illinois and Indiana this season. They've beaten Michigan State. I don't think they will be intimidated, and I think they will be competitive. They are missing their sixth man, a redshirt freshman who is very good, so that is their biggest concern tonight. I'm looking forward to the game.

Their big man, Mast, will be the key. He's a good shooter, passer, and crafty around the basket, but he is a below the rim guy and has not had a great game by his standards in a couple of weeks. Pryce Sandfort can shoot lights out. Sam Hoiberg has grown from just the coaches kid at the end of the bench to one of the best point guards around. Hustles on every play, can shoot if you leave them open, and does not turn the ball over.

Arkansas at OU and Purdue at Indiana worth keeping an eye on also. One of the better nights of the season so far.

Also watching Big 10 high level basketball makes you realize how poor SEC officiating is. I've seen some missed calls both ways, but they're managing the game so well.
